The Best Toothbrush I’ve Tried

We all care about our teeth, or at least I'd like to think we all do! To me, my smile is one of my most important features (and biggest insecurity), so taking care of my teeth is a MUST. Not only do I want my smile to look good, I want my smile to feel good. How do I achieve a "good feeling" smile, you may ask? I switched my electric toothbrush to the cariPRO Ultrasonic electric toothbrush by Smile Brilliant and my teeth and gums have never felt better! 

I’ve been using an electric toothbrush for years now. They are just more effective in removing plaque buildup, which I have always had a problem with, especially on the backs of my teeth. I was using an electric toothbrush my mom got me from Amazon, and I really liked it. But the cariPRO toothbrush has done the best job at getting my teeth slipper smooth, just like when leaving the dentist! 

The main difference I noticed right off the bat between the cariPRO and my old toothbrush was the bristles. The cariPRO is a little larger, making it easier to brush a larger area of my teeth than my old toothbrush. The bristles are also softer! Which I love, because I have fairly sensitive teeth. The brush heads also have a tongue scraper on the back, which I’ve never seen on another electric toothbrush!  

There are five different brushing modes on the cariPRO, making it very easy to brush your teeth depending on your specific needs. The modes are “clean”, “white”, “massage”, “gum care”, and “sensitive”. Each mode lasts for two minutes, with short pauses between each 30 seconds, so you know when to brush the next quadrant in your mouth. 

I think my favorite mode has to be the massage setting. Believe it or not, our gums should also be massaged daily. Once I learned this, it has made such a difference in my gum health. I used to just use my fingers for a good old fashioned massage for my gums, but now that I can use my toothbrush to do so, it’s so much easier. And my gums haven’t been in pain ever since!

Another feature I really enjoy is the button to switch modes. It is just under the power button and you simply press it when you want to switch to a different mode. My old toothbrush has just the one power button and you have to press that to switch modes, making it tricky because if you had just switched modes, you’d have to give it a few seconds before turning it off, or else it just keeps switching modes... if that makes sense! 

You can get the cariPRO with four replacement heads and a charging dock for $129. Comparable toothbrushes go for $250! You may initially think $129 seems pricey, but long term it will save you money when you don’t have to keep replacing your toothbrush every few months. 

All in all, I am LOVING this toothbrush and don’t think I’ll be switching to another. I love the simple yet professional look of it as well. I’m no expert in the dental industry, but as a consumer, I can definitely give this toothbrush a 10/10. My teeth have never felt better and that alone gives me enough confidence to show my smile.
